Que s'était-il passé avant, et que se passerait-il après ?
Elle ne se souvenait de rien. C'est comme si cette île magnifique était une parenthèse dans le temps et dans l'espace. Un vide géographique, un vide temporel, un vide... énergétique ?
What had happened before, and what would happen after?

Il n'y avait rien ici, absolument rien. Pas âme qui vive ni d'habitations, tous les animaux ayant fui ce magnifique endroit pour des raisons inconnues. Pas d'animaux, non, ni d'insectes dont elle aurait pu se nourrir le temps de trouver une solution pour quitter cet endroit, si un jour, bien entendu, elle y arrivait. Pourtant, il fallait bien des insectes pour oxygéner cette Terre et donner vie à ces fruits et à ces légumes dont la taille était par dix fois supérieure à leur taille standard sur Terre... Une absurdité biologique, sans nul doute !
There was nothing here, absolutely nothing. Not a single living soul nor habitation, all the animals having fled this magnificent place for unknown reasons. No animals, no, nor insects that she could have fed on while she found a solution to leave this place, if one day, of course, she managed to do so. However, insects were needed to oxygenate this Earth and give life to these fruits and vegetables whose size was ten times greater than their standard size on Earth... No wonder it was a biological absurdity !
Mais en vérité, elle n'avait pas faim et sur Terre, elle avait l'impression de ne plus y être, car ces fruits et ces légumes, bien qu'ils y ressemblaient par certains aspects, étaient d'espèces inconnues et les couleurs qui les paraient avait une intensité qui la ramenait à une réalité différente, où tout était plus grand et plus intense et qui lui faisait douter d'avoir eu un jour... Le sens de la réalité.

Les sons eux aussi semblaient être dotés de plus de profondeur et de magnitude, diffusant leurs ondes en échos dans l'air de façon à la faire sursauter à chaque vrillement de feuille.
La chaleur de ce soleil, ce soleil d'une couleur qu'elle n'aurait su décrire, transperçait sa peau d'une façon insoupçonnable, comme si elle et lui fusionnaient ensemble dans un déluge de sensations décuplées. Elle devenait, pour ainsi dire, ce soleil, astre étrange traversant de ses rayons chacune des parcelles de sa peau de part en part.
